Our take on fashion right now is simple: anything goes. Trends are styled in a way that means everyone can give them a go and let their personal style run through seamlessly. Out on the London streets this past week, our Hey Savi crew spotted so many of these trends in action, and there’s so much we can take from it.

There’s a lot to be said for the way London wholeheartedly delivers, year after year, with the return of London Fashion Week. We can’t get enough of the looks we’ve spotted, not just on the catwalk, but from cab to door on those fabulous front rows.

Ruffles/ Thrills

We’re so excited that ruffles carried through much of the shows this season. We particularly loved how H&M wove ruffles into their Autumn ’26 showcase, and the best part is you don’t have to wait to shop it. The runway pieces were available to buy straight off the catwalk, including lace, high necks and plenty of flowy, frilled silhouettes to layer and play with this autumn, and fashion followers have been loving it.

We couldn’t help but notice ruffles playing a huge part in this year’s LFW visitors’ wardrobes too, with a real spotlight on layering, overlapping trends and mixing textures, which has been so fun to see.

We’ve seen people go in hard with this trend, not just with your average denim, but using it to really set the tone and overall purpose of an outfit. Our favourite street styles from Fashion Week have been all about the confidence of wearing a good pair of jeans with layers of other beautifully textured fabrics.

Think asymmetric tops, lace and thicker, cosier fabrics as the transitional pieces that make a real statement out of an otherwise casual, everyday look. Statement Skirts

A skirt has ALL the potential to be the centre of an outfit. Especially judging from the looks that we have seen over the last week- there are no limits to a statement skirt to elevate a look.

Take these River Island skirts for instance (Brown Leopard Print Godet Midi Skirt | River Island and Green Stripe Maxi Skirt | River Island), I can really see both standing out with thin knits, calf high boots, your most obnoxiously big shades and a cute throw-over-the-shoulder cropped jacket.
