Hey Savi Terms & Conditions
Last updated November 2025
Welcome to Hey Savi, we’re here to make fashion search smarter, faster, and more fun. These Terms and Conditions explain how our service works and the rules you agree to when using Hey Savi.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us at feedback@heysavi.com.
1. Who we are
Hey Savi is a fashion tech platform created to help you find clothes you love – fast. Whether it’s from a photo, a screenshot, or a saved look, we’ll show you options that are in stock, in your size, and at the best available price.
Hey Savi Limited is based in the UK and registered in England and Wales (Company No. 15232892). Our registered office is at 130 Wood Street, London EC2V 6DL, England. VAT number: 452 6216 07.
By using our services, you agree that you’ve read and understood these terms and agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Using Hey Savi
You’re welcome to use Hey Savi if you’re 18 or older and legally able to enter into contracts. You can add your date of birth under the ‘Profile’ section on the app and select ‘Personal Details’, so that we can check that you’re over 18.
Upon creating an account you’ll also need to provide your name and email address. We’ll email you a magic link to log you into the app and you’ll stay logged in unless you choose to log out.
You can search for fashion items by taking a photo via the app, uploading an image from your photo library or describing the item.
Please remember:
- we’re looking to identify fashion and not people – your photo doesn’t need to include faces or other identifying features
- if you see someone wearing an item you love, ask them if you can take a photo – hopefully they’ll be flattered and want to try Hey Savi too!
When you use Hey Savi, you’re getting a personal licence – this means:
- You can use Hey Savi for yourself, not for a business or to make money from it
- You can’t share, sell, or give your access to someone else
- You’re allowed to search, browse, and shop through our platform – but you can’t copy, change, or reverse-engineer how it works
Service Availability:
While we strive to provide continuous service, we cannot guarantee that Hey Savi will be available 24/7 or free from interruptions, delays, or technical issues. We reserve the right to suspend service for maintenance, updates, or technical difficulties.
In short:
You can use Hey Savi to make your fashion search easier and more enjoyable – but please don’t misuse it or use it in ways we haven’t allowed.
✅ Allowed:
- Using Hey Savi to search for fashion for yourself
- Discovering outfits and brands that match your style
- Saving items you love or want to come back to
❌ Not allowed:
- Using Hey Savi for a business or reselling items
- Sharing your account or login with others
- Copying our tech or trying to rebuild our platform
- Automated scraping or excessive use that may harm our service
3. Your responsibilities
By using Hey Savi, you agree to:
- Use our platform legally and respectfully, including seeking consent from anyone you are photographing
- Not misuse or interfere with our service (no bots, scraping, or reverse engineering please)
- Keep your account details safe and not share them with anyone
- Not harass, abuse or harm anyone when using Hey Savi.
We reserve the right to limit or suspend access if you don’t comply with these terms or we detect unusual usage patterns, automated scraping, or other activities that may harm our service or other users. This includes excessive API calls, bot activity, or attempts to reverse-engineer our technology.
4. What we offer
We show you fashion products from a wide range of retailers, based on your image or style search. Our goal is to help you find the exact item (or a perfect match) – in stock, in your size, and at the best available price.
But just so we’re clear: Hey Savi doesn’t sell these items directly. When you tap to buy, you’ll be taken to the retailer’s website to complete your purchase. That transaction is between you and the retailer – not Hey Savi. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, terms of service, or business practices of these third-party sites. Your interactions with retailers are governed by their terms, not ours.
We do our best to recommend what we believe is the best match – based on price, stock availability, and sizing – but:
- There’s no guarantees, we can’t promise that every search will find the perfect match
- We’re not responsible for the final product you buy, its quality, how it fits, or how it’s delivered
- We’re not liable for returns, delivery costs, shipping delays, or refund issues
- You must review the retailer’s terms, including their return policy, delivery charges, sizing guides, and stock availability before you buy.
We’ll always do our best to surface the clearest, most helpful information – but the final decision, and responsibility, sits with you.
5. Accuracy of results
Hey Savi is still in its early stages – we’re learning, testing, and evolving every day.
Our goal is to make fashion search smarter, faster, and more personal. We use advanced tech to match your images and preferences with what’s available from retailers, but we know we won’t get it right every time just yet.
Our visual search uses artificial intelligence and machine learning technology that is constantly evolving. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated results may not always be perfect or complete. We cannot guarantee that our technology will correctly identify all items or provide results that meet your expectations.
If something feels off – whether it’s a search result, product match, or part of the experience – we’d love to hear from you. Your feedback helps shape the future of Hey Savi.
You can drop us a message anytime at feedback@heysavi.com – we’re always listening and genuinely appreciate your insights.
6. How we handle your data (with care)
To give you the best possible experience we do collect some data – like the images you upload, your shopping preferences and how you use the app. But here’s our promise:
- We don’t sell your personal data: We may use anonymised, aggregated insights to help retailers improve their products, fit and shopping experiences – but your identity is never for sale and your trust stays at the centre of everything we do
- Minimalism first: We only collect what we need to help you get what you want, and we only keep it as long as needed to improve our algorithms
- Security is key: We encrypt all images provided to us
- Total transparency: We’ve nothing to hide! You can read full details of how we deal with data in our Privacy Policy.
Service Improvement:
We may use aggregated, anonymised usage data and feedback to improve our algorithms, add new features, and enhance user experience. This helps us make Hey Savi better for everyone while protecting your privacy.
Content After Account Closure:
While we will aim to delete your personal data within 30 days of account closure, some content may remain in our systems for technical reasons or legal compliance. Anonymised data derived from your usage may be retained for service improvement.
You can read our full Privacy Policy for complete details about how we handle your information.
7. Intellectual property
This is the complicated part – we’ve tried to make it as simple as possible. If you have any concerns or questions, we’d love to hear from you: feedback@heysavi.com.
We (or our licensors) own all rights to our platform – that includes the Hey Savi name, technology, features, branding, designs, code, content, and anything else we’ve created or licensed to power the experience.
All of this is protected by copyright, trade mark, and other intellectual property laws. You’re welcome to use Hey Savi for your own personal, non-commercial use and in accordance with these terms – but:
- You can’t copy, sell, modify, or publish our tech or content
- You can’t use our name, logo, or designs without our written permission
Your content:
If you upload images or other content to Hey Savi, you confirm that:
- You own the content or have permission to share it, particularly from any identifiable individual
- You’re not violating anyone else’s rights by sharing it
- The content doesn’t contain anything illegal, harmful, or inappropriate
If you want to use our brand, tech, or content for anything beyond personal use, email us at feedback@heysavi.com – we’re open to collaborations, but it must be agreed in writing.
We also welcome ideas and suggestions. If you send us feedback (Submissions), you agree we can use it freely – without needing to credit or compensate you. It helps us build better. We’ll be sure to remove any personal data when we do use your Submissions.
If you upload content to the platform (Contributions), you confirm you own it or have permission to share it. You give us permission to use and publish that content (including any name or likeness you include), across our platforms and marketing. You waive any moral rights, and you’re responsible for what you post. We can remove anything that breaks these terms.
If you misuse our IP or content or we suspect you have misused it, we may suspend your account and take further legal action if needed.
You agree to indemnify and hold Hey Savi harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- your use of our service
- content you upload
- your violation of these terms
- your violation of any third-party rights
8. Closing your account
You can close your account anytime, simply go to the ‘Profile’ section on the app and select ‘Delete Account’.
We may suspend or end access if you use our platform in a harmful way.
We may suspend or end your access if you:
- Break these terms in a serious way
- Use our platform to harm others or for illegal purposes
- Repeatedly misuse our service despite warnings
- Engage in unusual usage patterns or suspicious activity that may harm our service
Fair process: Before we close your account, we’ll usually:
- Tell you what the problem is
- Give you a chance to fix it (if possible)
- Explain our decision if we do close your account
Emergency situations: We may suspend access immediately if we believe there’s a serious risk to our service, other users, or legal compliance.
9. Disclaimers & limits of liability
We do our best to deliver a smooth, helpful service, but we can’t guarantee it’ll always be perfect.
What we’re not responsible for:
- Retailer errors (like wrong prices, unavailable products, or poor service)
- Technical interruptions, bugs, or temporary service issues
- The accuracy of product information provided by retailers
- Any purchases you make through retailer websites
- Circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including natural disasters, government actions, internet outages, or other unforeseeable events)
Our liability to you: Nothing in these terms limits our liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Any other liability that can’t be limited under English law
For everything else, our total liability to you for any losses is limited to £1000. We’re not liable for any indirect losses, lost profits, or consequential damages.
10. Changes to these terms
When we might update these terms:
- To reflect changes in how our service works
- To comply with new laws or regulations
- To address new risks or improve clarity
- As our business grows and evolves
How we’ll tell you:
Where possible, we’ll email you about significant changes at least 30 days before they take effect. We’ll also update the “Last amended” date at the top of these terms.
Your options:
If you don’t like the changes, you can stop using Hey Savi before they take effect. Continuing to use our service after the changes means you accept the new terms.
11. Other rights you should know about
Distance Selling:
When you buy from retailers accessed through our platform, you may have cancellation rights under distance selling regulations. Check each retailer’s terms for details about returns and cancellations.
Problems with purchases:
If you have issues with items bought through retailer links on Hey Savi, your contract is with the retailer, not us. However, if you believe we’ve provided misleading information, you can contact us at feedback@heysavi.com.
12. Do you have a complaint?
If something goes wrong: We want to hear about it. Contact us at feedback@heysavi.com and we’ll do our best to resolve any issues quickly and fairly.
Our process:
- We’ll acknowledge your complaint within 14 working days
- We’ll investigate and respond with our findings within 28 working days
- If you’re not satisfied, you can escalate to alternative dispute resolution services
External help: If we can’t resolve your complaint, you may be able to use online dispute resolution platforms or contact Trading Standards for further assistance.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If there’s a dispute, it’ll be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
