There’s nothing quite like doing one big seasonal haul at your favourite retailer, and for us, ASOS gets it right every time. As autumn arrives, it’s hard not to picture yourself strolling along in a cosy knit with a pumpkin spice latte in hand.
As always, it’s our Savi duty to share what we’re loving this week and what’s sitting in our baskets ready for payday.
You can’t beat the ASOS Basics section. This season we’re stocking up on anything oversized, and there’s a whole section of comfy pieces and boxy tees that are perfect for relaxed, everyday wear.
There is a formula to this style, though. We’re big believers in getting the most out of every piece by rewearing and restyling it. Basics are so versatile: throw them on for work, then dress them up for an evening out.

Just look at how well this striped tee goes with a pair of khaki cargos. A good, well-structured tee works wonders in any wardrobe, and this ASOS DESIGN oversized t-shirt in navy stripe will be in our rotation for years to come. It’s the ultimate mix-and-match piece: add a mini skirt and strappy heels and it’s completely transformed. The world is your oyster with this one!
And if you want all the snuggly comforts you can get through the chillier months, a well-balanced lounge set with a matching coat will become the uniform you keep coming back to. Think simple, comfortable neutrals that you can also wear separately with brighter, bolder colours, so you get the most wear out of every piece.

The ASOS Design team have nailed this cosy double-layer look. I’m dying to throw on the ASOS DESIGN lounge brushed double layer long sleeve pyjama set in brown stripe with a cropped biker jacket, and then I’m ready for an autumn stroll or brunch with the girls.

If a lounge set feels a bit too casual, try a jersey off-shoulder top. It lifts a relaxed look, and paired with any comfy trousers it makes a more considered everyday outfit. A little effort goes a long way. This ARRANGE jersey off shoulder long sleeve top with ruched hem in white adds effortless dimension and takes you easily from day to evening.
It can’t just be us who get excited about cooler evenings and a cardigan you can wrap yourself up in, day or night, on the sofa or out for a stroll. ASOS has a HUGE range of cardigans to choose from (5,234, to be exact!). We’ve scrolled to our hearts’ content and narrowed it down to two styles: one long and cosy, and one shorter and more stylish.
Buttoned-up cardigans in neutral tones are having a moment, and we’re totally here for it. But let’s bring some fun back to autumn styling.

For comfort, we’ve added this Miss Selfridge maxi cardigan with lace cuff detail in black– the lace cuff detail is a welcomed detail which gives a simple look a little edge. If you are yet to purchase a cardigan for drowning in this Autumn/Winter, definitely head to our Hey Savi search to find the perfect fit- here are some of our Hey Savi favourites…
